MBM’s Casually Giving Back Program Benefits Oshkosh School

Casually Giving Back - School supplies

MBM’s Casually Giving Back program for the month of July, 2016 is sure to earn an A+! The program allows MBM employees to wear jeans each Friday if they make a $5.00 donation. We choose a new charity recipient each month. In July, we chose to help Roosevelt elementary school in Oshkosh, WI with a donation of school supplies. According to the principal, Roosevelt is a lower income school with over 65% of the students on free or reduced lunch. There is also a homeless shelter nearby the feeds into Roosevelt so they see a lot of children in need each year.

MBM raised $750 in July and went shopping for school supplies to help supply the children that don’t have them. We were able to purchase backpacks, lunch bags, notebooks, folders, and pencils. Other items included headphones, ear buds, crayons, glue and many other supplies that the school was in desperate need of. MBM employees packaged up the supplies and delivered to the school in early August.Casually Giving Back - School supply delivery
